I went to an antique sale one Sunday with the intention of purchasing absolutely nothing. Nada.

As usual, that mode of thinking didn’t last more than 10 minutes at the show.  There was a room full of vintage cars for sale, some of them priced below belief. Take this 52 Buick for example:

1.     body----laser straight.

2.     chrome, ---excellent.

3.     interior-----nearly perfect.

4.     engine------puuuuuuuuuurrrrring

5.     transmission---the old Dynaflow--bullet proof.

6.     electrical and wiring----flawless.

I walked past it the first time through.  $6,000.00 for a 4 door was a little much.  Upon a closer look at the sale sign, it was $ 600.00.  That’s right, six hundred dollars!

I bought it for Jenay and she used it for a commuter car to her office.  She loved it.  The radio didn’t work so she bought a Boom Box and kept it on the seat.

Then, one day after forgetting to do the brake job my mechanic advised me to have done, she almost lost it.  Actually, she did lose it when she got home. I almost lost my you know what!

Jenay didn’t trust the car after that so I sold it.  What a great deal for someone.  Can you believe it? I did the brake job for someone else.  Woe was me.
